In our 10th post in the Greening ELT series, Noni Gilbert, one of the vice presidents of FECEI (the Spanish federation of private language schools) shares an upbeat and optimistic report from their recent annual national conference held in Madrid in February 2020.
We’d like to say a very big thank you to Jennifer Taylor for coming back to share an update on the TESOL France 2019 symposium in Lille. She first posted about TESOL’ France’s green initiatives in November in the run up to the symposium. Now she’s back to tell us how it went.
We are delighted with the ongoing dialogue ELT Footprint is having with IATEFL about their environmental commitment. They are busy working to make the organisation a brighter shade of green. This includes engaging with exhibitors at the annual conference to make sure that they are aware of IATEFL’s new policies and making sure their Exhibitors’ Handbook reflect these policies. Check out their IATEFL2020_Exhibition Environmental Awareness poster with some great suggestions.
